New Technique for Image Segmentation

Biogeography is the study of the geographical distribution of biological organisms. BBO is basically a optimization techniques it does not involve reproduction or the generation of “children”. This paper proposes a Biogeography Based optimization approach for automatically grouping the pixels of an image into different homogeneous regions. From many years Image segmentation are done with many techniques like PSO, ACO etc. This paper implements BBO approach for image segmentation for partitioning an image into multiple segments.
